Aslıhan And, studied with Prof. Vieri Bottazzini in İstanbul and with Prof. Juergen Franz in Germany. She was selected as the "Rising Star" at the Galway Flute Festival in 2013 and gave concerts in Switzerland, Germany, USA and Italy. Aslıhan And was the principal flutist at Istanbul State Opera and Ballet between 2016-2020, also as a substitute flutist in North German Radio (NDR) Symphony Orchestra (North Germany Radio Symphony Orchestra), Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. She has the chance to gave workshops and concerts at the “Galway Flute Festival” (Switzerland) in 2017 and 2019.
Also she took part as a jury member in the “The Shengqi He Shanghai International Flute Festival” (Republic of China) and the "Flutissimo Flute Festival” (France) in 2020. She also gave concert and masterclasses at these festivals. Aslıhan And is currently Associate Professor of flute at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She is the solo flutist of the Tekfen Philharmonic Orchestra and Cemal Reşit Rey Symphony Orchestra. She is the flutist of the Duo Anda which is piano and flute duo ensemble and Diskant Contemporary Music Ensemble.
